We are happy to announce that Eureka! is now offering foreign language tutorials as part of our expanding range of subjects. Students can choose between Spanish and Mandarin – two of the most widely used languages in the world with about 400 million and 1 billion native speakers, respectively. Others may be added in the near future depending on the demand.
Why Learn a New Language?
Being an avid language learner comes with numerous benefits. These include:
1. Better Career Opportunities
Multilingual individuals are highly prized by international companies. They often get plenty of travel opportunities and enjoy rapid career advancement.
2. Improved Cognitive Ability
Learning new languages teaches the brain to recognize patterns and to think in different ways. These cognitive skills carry over to other subjects like Math and English. Studies have shown that, on average, the test scores of bilinguals trump those of monolinguals.
3. Exposure to Different Cultures
Broaden your mind as well as your knowledge of the world. Culture is deeply embedded in every language so you will be able to know more about a country and its people as you learn their native tongue.
4. More Enjoyable Travels
It’s more fun to explore a country when you can understand the street signs and haggle for the best bargains in the public markets. You will also be able to make friends with a lot of the locals.
… and many more!
Give us a call today and let’s talk about your next learning adventure.

The word “Eureka” was popularized by the Greek mathematician Archimedes. Eureka is a transliteration from the Greek equivalent “heúrka”, an interjection used to emphasize excitement out of a sudden discovery. Eureka is equivalent to the proclamation “I have found it!”. The word, as the chosen name of the tutorial center, aptly expresses the joy and excitement that we teachers feel imparting knowledge to our students as we guide and inspire them to take paths to self-discovery.
Since its establishment in 2007, Eureka! has already trained more than a thousand students by offering quality tutorials at affordable prices. What distinguishes Eureka from other centers is its ability to handle all types of students, even those who are enrolled in international curricula (K-12 system) such as the International Baccalaureate Program, the IGCSE, the AP Program, and other rigorous programs. The recent migration of the Philippines’ educational system to K-12 bids well for our country’s goal to be at par with the rest of the world but the transition would need the help of experienced educators in preparing the students as well as the parents for the K-12 system. We, at Eureka are confident that the adaptive method devised by Eureka rises to this challenge and was devised under the framework of the K-12 system. The adaptive method is able to measure the level of the students, observe their way of thinking, and devise the appropriate program suited for the students.
Eureka has expanded from a single room to the entire second floor of JEMP Building in J.Cabarrus BF Homes Paranaque and offers academic and language training to both local and foreign students. It has students from private schools such as De La Salle Santiago Zobel, PAREF Southridge and Woodrose, St. Paul, St. Andrew School, Montessori de Manila, Colegio de San Agustin, as well as international schools like Brent IS, International School of Manila, European International School,MIT International School, and Southville International School to name a few.
Eureka! belongs to an elite class of tutorial centers equipped to handle difficult programs such as the IB, AP, and the IGCSE. Tutors in Eureka! are professionally trained to handle all major subjects included in the K-12 system.
Value for money
Eureka! has a base of students who continually refer friends, relatives, and schoolmates. Word-of-mouth is Eureka’s best form of advertisement. Thus, compared to other tutoring center, rates in Eureka! are kept reasonable.
