The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (abbreviated IGCSE) is an internationally recognized curriculum for students, typically in the 14–16 age groups. The IGCSE was developed by University of Cambridge International Examinations in 1985. The examination board Edexcel offers its own version, the Edexcel IGCSE. The term “IGCSE” is the registered trade mark of the University of Cambridge and is used under licence.
Eureka’s IGCSE program consists of a series of qualifying examinations that the students should pass in order to prepare for the actual test. The IGCSE is often used to prepare students in taking more academically rigorous programs such as the AP or IB.
Eureka’s IGCSE review program is based on the actual past IGCSEs. The exercises help tutors pinpoint areas of concern and specific topics that the a student finds difficult. The tutor then addresses these concerns by providing more exercises that will reinforce understanding.
